Desalination India Congress 2013

The Indian desalination water market is growing at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 30 percent over a period of five years from 2013 to 2018. The desalination capacity in India is seen at 5,350 million litres per day (MLD) by 2018. Early in 2013, several news about building new seawater desalination plants were released by local EPC and international consortium, which indicating that India is now welcoming a new boom of seawater desalination plants. Government officials and industry elites are now confident that water desalination will be a big business in the near future and it is gearing up to have a sizeable share of that pie.

The theme of the conference is “Joint Efforts to Accelerate India Seawater Desalination Expansion ”. DIC 2013 is an event to attain deep understandings on India’s desalination initiatives, roadmap, regulatory environment.
